The Steps to Knock and Rebuild

Stage 1 - Site Desktop Study

Our first step is to get to know your site, we check everything from your Local Council’s Development Control Plans (DCP), Land Boundaries, Contours Plans, Existing Services (Dial Before You Dig) and Potential Hazards to ensure that your site is right for your new home.

Stage 2 - Design Consultation and Concept Design

Using our knowledge of your site, our architect will create a design brief with all your expectations of the New Home – the brief will describe the specifications of the new home and its inclusions. We further assess the feasibility from a construction perspective, identifying any budget and scope requirements. Using all this valuable information and your design concept, our architect creates actual plans, elevations and sections – giving you a great understanding of your new home.

Stage 3 - FIXED PRICE TENDER AND BUILDING AGREEMENT

When you are completely happy with your concept design and our tender price we will proceed to create the working drawings, and building agreement. We will complete all the detailed drawings and specifications needed to construct your home. AMT Grand Homes will organize BASIX approval, Sydney Water approval and Lodge Plans with council or accredited certifier.

Stage 4 - DESIGN YOUR GRAND HOME

A Grand Home is all about Design - we will guide you through our carefully picked designer range of items and products you need to build your home. Together we will create an idea book to help you visualize all your selections and how they fit into your home.

Stage 5 - KNOCK DOWN

It is time to demolish your existing house and create your Grand Home. We will arrange the whole process – making the site ready for construction.

Stage 6 - BUILDING YOUR GRAND HOME

During the build process, you will be in weekly contact with our team – updating you every step of the construction journey. We organize site meeting at every milestone, together we want to build more than a house, we want to create an experience.
